I had recently found a pair of gloves my mother gave me years ago before her passing. I was overjoyed and in shifting bags and purses around lost one of them. My heart sank, but shortly after I found it again. I had been holding onto a lot of ambivalent feelings about our relationship, because in caring for her, and throughout my life, narcissistic behaviors were directed at me but not understood to be what they were until very recently. Even though I arrived at a place of awareness, the hurts kept seeping into my spirit. When my reading came through with so many messages from her extoling me to "let go of some things" I knew immediately that my reading was a true connection because no one on earth knows how much I agonized over harshness from my mother. My father seemed to have a heightened sensibility to my feelings, though I never even verbalized my anguish to him. He just looked at me one day and said "somethings you just have to take to your grave" The pain was bottled up and that was what I intended to do in order to not tarnish any other family bonds. I am so grateful for the reading because it influenced me to understand that my mother understood. Her life was very harsh also. I can slip my hands into those gloves which were not new gloves but ones she had worn regularly and just offhandedly gave them to me one day. How they survived the many moves and turmoil of my life is a miracle in itself. I appreciate my reading showing me signposts of my journey to watch for, avoid looking back, and look forward to...spiritual and emotional rest. I know astrology takes a hit by Christians as being demonic...but they forget wise men of old used the movement of the stars and signs in the heavens for wisdom and prophecy.
